Terms of Service

Effective September 22, 2026

These terms govern your use of the AltiDial Android app and this website (together, the "Service"), operated by AltiDial VoIP Communications. By downloading, installing, or using AltiDial, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The service

AltiDial is a SIP softphone for Android. You can use it in two ways:

  • With your own SIP account: you register your existing SIP/PBX credentials, and calls are handled directly between your device and your SIP provider. This mode is free.
  • With an AltiDial Business account: we provision and host a SIP account for you and provide cloud features such as synced call history and contacts, push notifications for incoming calls, and optional call recording.

2. Accounts and security

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@altidial.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use AltiDial to:

  • Make unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harassing calls;
  • Spoof caller identity to deceive or defraud a recipient;
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to our systems or another user's account;
  • Violate any applicable telecommunications, privacy, or recording law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

4. Call recording

AltiDial Business accounts may enable server-side call recording as an optional feature. Recording laws vary by jurisdiction, and some require all parties to consent before a call is recorded. If you enable this feature, you are solely responsible for complying with the laws that apply to your calls, including obtaining any required consent from the other party.

5. Third-party SIP servers

If you connect AltiDial to your own or a third party's SIP server, that connection, its availability, and any data you send through it are governed by your agreement with that provider. AltiDial is not responsible for the performance, availability, or practices of third-party SIP infrastructure.

6. Service availability

We aim to keep AltiDial Business infrastructure available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Calling over VoIP also depends on your device, network connection, and (for third-party SIP accounts) your provider, which are outside our control.

7. Intellectual property

The AltiDial app, this website, and their content, features, and branding are owned by AltiDial VoIP Communications and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You're granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for its intended purpose.

8. Termination

You may stop using AltiDial and delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these terms or that we believe harms other users or the Service.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. AltiDial is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including missed or dropped calls, or issues with third-party SIP infrastructure. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
